Many years ago on a cold, sunny Spring morning, I was sitting on the couch drinking hot coffee, dog on my lap, and writing a To-do list for the day.
The next thing I knew I felt like I had been hit over the head with an iron skillet. My head swam with pain and I truly believed I was dying. Suddenly the pain stopped just as quickly as it had started. I heard a voice very loud and clear. The voice said, “Good morning Angela! This is God and you have been avoiding me! I made you psychic for a reason. I let you raise your family. Now it’s time for you to come work for me!”
Though having been raised as a minister’s daughter had given me great respect for God, I had managed to hide my gifts for most of my life, in the false belief that these gifts were opposed to my religious beliefs.
I knew I was speaking to God, but could not fathom that I was being called to use these gifts. I replied, “Are you sure you have the right person?” God Source, having a good sense of humor, laughed at me in a very loving way and said, “Of course I’m sure. You have trained for many lifetimes for the work you will do in this life.” I sighed long and deep, considering my options. I knew I couldn’t say ‘no’ but was a bit afraid of how life-changing this would be. With a nod of my head, knowing that my life would be forever changed, I responded, “Okay.” …..and so it began….
